I did the following -- In Windows 3.0 Under the Control Panel Under the Colors Icon You can use either existing color schemes for the desktop et al. or you can make user defined schemes. My question is this: I foolishly removed the predefined color schemes (Bordeaux etc...) and I would like to get them back without re-installing Windows. Might anyone know which file I could copy to retrieve these colors schemes?? Thanks in advance for the info. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~ Len Bauer lab@ccird4.UUCP ~~ ~~ 97 Humboldt St. Yankees, Islanders, Jets, Knicks ~~ ~~ Rochester NY. 14609 Mark Martin, and anybody in a FORD! ~~ ~~ 716-482-5000 x3105 ~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~ Where I'll Be: Oct. 21 NY Jets vs. Buffalo Bills ~~ ~~ Oct. 27 Syracuse vs. Army West Point NY ~~ ~~ Nov. 3 Autoworks 500 Phoenix Az. ~~ ~~ Feb '91 Speed Weeks Daytona Fl. ~~ ~~ Apr '91 Hanes 500 Martinsville Va~~ ~~ Jun '91 Bud 500 Dover De. ~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

A fresh CONTROL.INI should be written to disk, from which you can then cut & paste the color scremes to the original one.
