My 386 system with Windows 3.0 won't run any non-windows applications in enhanced mode. I can run them in real or standard mode, but when I switch to enhanced mode windows sends back the message "Cannot find file." An attempt to run the DOS prompt provokes the same response. Windows applications run fine in enhanced mode. Since the non- windows applications run from standard mode or real mode I assume they are set up properly. Has anyone encountered this problem (and more to the point) a solution? -- --------------------------------------------------------------------- Guy Saffold a1695@MINDLINK.UUCPP Voice 604-888-7511 Fax 604-888-5336 ---------------------------------------------------------------------

I have had this problem also. I found the solution was the FILES statement in your Config.sys was too low. Try raising the number and see if the problem goes away.
