Hi all -
I've got a small question I'd like answered if possible. I guess I
should mention the equipment that I am running Windows on, and then go
on from there.
For starters I'm running on a 386sx machine with 5 MB of entended
memory. 40 MB hard disk (MFM I beleive) and a VGA card and monitor. It's
just a basic setup.
Now my problem has to do when running Windows in enhanced mode. I have
no problems doing this, the problem is that the speed of Windows is
reduced an incredible amount compared to running it in standard mode.
I guess my question is why is there such a hugs difference in speed
between standard and enhanced modes? I can even open twice as many apps
in standard mode and still have a better response time.
Thanks...
.. Marcelo ..
