I have a Paradise 1024 card with 512K of RAM and a Multisync monitor.
So far I have been unable to get this card to display 1024x768x16 with
Windows 3.0. I have other programs (mostly gif viewers) which can access
the 1024x768 mode fine. I've tried the drivers included with the card
(though they seemed a bit old) and the best it's done so far is print out
half of the Windows opening screen, print the other half as garbage, and
then lock up. It occasionally also bombs into low res mode.
Has anyone had any luck with the 1024 card and Windows? 800x600 works
fine. Does anyone have the number of Paradise (I don't see it in the
manual)?
Any help is appreciated

Paradise can be reached at 1-800-356-5787 (voice) also they have a bbs you can call at 1-415-968-1834. I downloaded drivers for my Paradise VGA16 card and it works fine for 800x600 I don't know about 1024 x 768. You only need one set of VGA drivers for 800 x 600 16 colors, 640 x 480 256 colors, and 1024 x 768 16 color modes. Steve Shott sjs2@po.cwru.edu --

The fonts become pretty small, but the driver set from their BBS notes a fix which I haven't tried. Second, to the best of my knowledge, the drivers on cica.cica.indiana.edu are older drivers (I can't confirm this), but they work fine in both 800x600 as well as 1024x768.
