[net.auto] Speaking of OLD cars...

I am building a replica of a car from the '30s. For authenticity I
am using 19" Ford Model A wheels as used in 1930 - 31 (modern wire
wheels are too wide and too small in diameter).

To make a long story short, I bought them at a swap meet several years
ago and now that I'm starting to roll the car around, I've discovered
that two of them are horribly out-of-round.

Does anyone out there know if these wheels can be trued? They were designed
to be very cheap to manufacture as the spokes are welded at both ends to
the hub and rim. There is no obvious way to adjust the spoke tension as
with modern wire wheels.

Thanks in advance.
