I bought a VGA card with a Paradise chip set on it recently. Mind you, it's not a "true" from-the-company Paradise card. Anyway, it's got 512k onboard and has been a good card, but the Paradise drivers from cica give me problems. The 640x480x256 driver causes a lot of snow on the lower half of the screen, though everything seems to be in order. The 1024x768 driver is really strange, causing the mouse to leave tracks on the screen (no permanent claw marks, though) and other generally flaky behavior. I read recently that someone had tried the Paradise drivers and they worked fine. Anyone had any trouble with them or got any ideas? Any thoughts are appreciated.
