I use Excel here under Windows 2.11; unfortunately, it quickly runs
out RAM with large spreadsheets. Will the same problem exist under
Windows 3.0? Or will Windows 3.0 handle large spreadsheets by
swapping to disk? I don't care if it's slow, as long as it doesn't
run out of memory. I'm considering upgrading to Windows 3.0 and
buying Excel at home, and I want to know whether I should plan on
buying more RAM at the same time. (I know it will work FASTER
if I buy more RAM; my question is whether I NEED to buy more RAM).

If "right of the people" in the Second Amendment doesn't refer to an
individual right, what does it refer to in the First & Fourth Amendments?
You must be kidding! No company would hold opinions like mine!ckinsman@eecs.wsu.edu (Chris Kinsman - EE major) (10/18/90)
It depends on what mode you are running in. In 386 Enhanced Mode yes you can just use virtual memory if you have a minimum of 2 megs. You really need the memory however for standard. Chirs
