[comp.windows.ms] Wincomm5 available

butch@uokmax.ecn.uoknor.edu (H. G. Walker) (10/25/90)

Wincomm5 (fifth version of demo) has been uploaded to
cica.cica.indiana.edu. It is also on Simtel20 and will be called Wincomm2.zip
whenever it is posted. If you are interested, you'd better get this version
quickly as the demo will expire around the first of Nov. This version fixes
several VT102 emulation problems (including the insert line problem) and a
couple of other minor problems.
If you still have problems, let me know.

Thanks,

Butch

all right, enough of this b.s. from what i've seen of wincomm it's a great
windows comm program, better than any i've played with. but what's the bloody
use of uploading a demo with a time bomb that expires in 7 days!? these
wincomm people need to find themselves a better PR flacky. time for a reality
check...
