[comp.windows.ms] Need DVI previewer for Windows 3.0

reisert@ricks.enet.dec.com (Jim Reisert) (11/05/90)

Hi,

I downloaded Doug McDonald's DVIMSWIN program from SIMTEL20, but it was
written for Windows 2.x and won't run under Windows 3.0 in enhanced mode. I
tried sending mail to the username shown in the documentation
(mcdonald@aries.cso.uiuc.edu), but it came back as "node unknown". Anyone
know how to contact him or where I can find a previewer that has been
updated for Windows 3.0?

thanks...jim

A recent OS upgrade broke our mail system. It will eventually be fixed.
That is the wrong address anyway - it should be aries.scs.uiuc.edu.

However, I thought that Simtel had the fixed version. The fixed one
is on c.scs.uiuc.edu.
