I had a 1964 Austin Healey Sprite transmission linkage freeze up on a very hot
day after driving a long distance at high speeds. I thought I had serious
problems and stopped at the closest garage. IA mechanic opened up the
top of the transmission and added STP oil treatment and ATF to this
4-speed stick shift. It worked great after that.
