I would like to talk to someone about New Wave programming. My problem is this. I am doing some development that requires a GUI on DOS, OS/2, and UNIX platforms. Our first development is mostly done using a DOS/Windows3.0 environment. The programmer doing this had not programmed in Windows before, and she had a huge learning curve (this seems to be standard). I don't want to have to have the same learning curve for Presentation Manager and X-Windows/Motif. My question is: Given that NewWave supposedly runs on all of these platforms and that it provides a consistent GUI on these platforms, will using New Wave solve my multiple learning curves problem? How portable are NewWave applications across these O/S's? For reference, we are using: DOS 4.01 with Windows 3.0 OS/2 V1.2 with Presentation Manager UNIX System V.4 with X-Windows and Motif -- ==================================================================== Paul J.
