[comp.windows.ms] Win/Orchid lockup!

bollard@hpspkla.spk.hp.com (Lee M. Bollard) (11/13/90)

I've had lockup problems in Win 3 since I started using the Orchid
Prodesigner Plus 256 color driver. I've seen no mention of any bugs in
this driver however. Here's what happens:

When windows is loading and the mouse cursor is an hourglass symbol, I move
this cursor to the very top of the screen. The whole system then locks up
tight! I must press RESET to clear it.

I THINK the problem happens only while the hard disc is active. However
I've only consistantly recreated the problem as described in the above
paragraph. What I mean to say is, that this problem has occured at other
times during windows use. Each time it occurs, the HD is active, and I'm
moving the cursor around the very top of the screen?

Any ideas? THANKS
