I downloaded Winqvt to try out (serial version, not net). I want to use it at home where I have 4 com devices. My modem is COM4. It doesn't seem to work. DOS Kermit does work when set to COM4. Added note: I have changed the addresses for com3 and com4 in the 386 enhanced area of the windows files and I also have a command I run that pokes the addresses into dos 40:0 area to show the addresses. The first is necessary to get kermit running from within windows, the latter is necessary to keep Kermit happy at the DOS level. tj
