I NEED 256 colours on screen and am willing to pay for it if the price is speed. I have seen my monitor in 640x400x256c (not 480!) and it looks great of course. The adapter is on the motherboard and as far as I know it is not expandable above the provided 256K. I can think of only two solutions... either some tricky fix for adding more RAM or Drivers for WIndows that do the 400 mode in 256 colours. Any clues? tj
