I don't build model cars but I do collect 1/43 and 1/66 scale die cast model cars. I would like to hear from anyone else interested in this hobby. Perhaps a mailing list could be generated to cover both the building and collecting of model cars of all scales. I know that there are several companies that make 1/43 scale die cast model kits. I have never tried my hand at it because they are rather expensive compared to plastic and because I just don't have that kind of time. Why not have a bit of discussion anyway on models in general because I think that most people interested in cars are also interested in collectable objects related to the automobile.
