[comp.windows.ms] New Version of Freeware Terminals...

Has anyone seen the latest relaeases for Wincomm
and WinQVT. I remember seeing something posted about the
latest release (which supposedly fixes the download
and upload priorities) being on compuserve for Unicom.
Could someone please upload that to cica for us all.

And I got a message from the WinQVT people saying that
v4.5 -- the official next version -- is almost done
(but that was a week ago) and should also be able to
grab ample clock time to prevent
transfers from not getting their more than fair share.

Has anyone seen either of these??? I know what they claim to
do isn't impossible, since WinComm was able to do it all fine.

Emc2

P.S. I think we can remove the Wincomm demo since when you
download it, it probably says
that the time limit is up. I know mine expired.

I just got WNWVT 4.45 from SIMTEL and tried it. The update note said
that the authors fixed the bug of the program hanging when switching
from "Large size" to "Small size" window. Well, they didn't.

It also dies not support Digital's LK250 keyboard that Kermit re-maps so
nicely.

After testing it for an hour, it was deleted from my disk.
