][ Just a quick note to let everyone know that the new official release of WinQVT has just arrived here at cica.cica.indiana.edu [129.79.20.22]. The file, WNQVT451.ZIP, is located in the /pub/pc/win3/util subdirectory. In addition to bug fixes, especially those associated with Screen Peace and background file transfers, many new features have been added. Thanks to Pam Arnold (76676.1420@compuserve.com) at QPC Software for keeping cica's archive informed and up-to-date with regard to WinQVT. QPC Software monitors this newsgroup--so the comments made here help shape future releases of WinQVT. -- michael regoli mr@cica.cica.indiana.edu regoli@iubacs.bitnet ...{rutgers, ames}!iuvax!cica!mr

It dials and if it gets a busy signal it aborts but still gives a connect #### (baud rate). I believe it used to or should redial the number... - Kay

QPC Software monitors this newsgroup--so the comments made >here help shape future releases of WinQVT. > To QPC Softtware: is there any chance of making WinQVT/Net able to support the LocalTalk PC card? It is my understanding that WinQVT/Net only supports packet drivers of class 0 and 6 (Ethernet and SLIP). Any chance of including class 17 (the class of the LocalTalk packet driver) in one of the next releases of the package? It would be most appreciated!!

I just down-loaded the new version of WinQVT and I really like it alot. I especially like the "tall" window option under the setup allowing me to have 50 lines of text! What I would like to know (could not find it in the readme files) is how to tell WinQVT to come up in the tall mode, It doesn't seem to save that setup option in the setup file. Am I just doing something wrong? If someone finds out, could you please let me know, thanks.
