I have just attempted to run WinQVT/NET and have not had much luck. I am using a packet driver for an in-house ethernet board which has run without any problems with NCSA Telnet 2.2 for nearly a year. After I have installed the packet driver and pktint, when I start WinQVT/NET it immediately complains: "Stop! Packet Class is neither Ethernet nor Slip. Not supported class." Followed closely by "Network Initialization Error!" I have a few questions: 1) Why should this packet driver not work with WinQVT/NET? It was written to the FTP packet driver spec 1.08. 2) In the QVT_TCP.RC file, is the packet_vector parameter supposed to be the pktint vector (0x80) or the real packet driver vector (0x60 for this driver)? The above operation is when packet_vector=80 is used. If I use packet_vector=60, the packet driver sign-on message is displayed and the system crashes. 3) Are there any tools that will allow me to probe the packet driver that I have, i.e. find out the packet class, functions supported, etc.? Thanks for any help you can provide. Please respond via email. If I receive other requests, I will summarize to the net. -Bob Bob O'Hara Net: bob.ohara@amd.com Advanced Micro Devices, Inc.
