First of all, does anybody have this version of Windows yet? Second, does anybody know what it fixes? third, I called MS today to get it and of course they have their policy of only sending you a Bug Fix if you are able to describe one of the bugs in the bug fix. So I bitched and screamed at the woman that answered the phone aft 22 minutes on hold until she would send me the disk just to get me off the line. Of course, they are out of stock and won't be able to ship for 6 weeks. the one thing I was able to get out of her was that there was some fix that had an effect on the Netware 386 shells. A NetBIOS call problem. Any other info? - Jeff (jaltman@ccmail.sunysb.edu)

Supposidly, the Windows 3.0a bug-fix disk is for problems associated with the Windows interface to NetBIOS LANs, where they were getting "application termination" errors when resources were low. I called and asked and was told it would only benefit net/lan users.
