Does anyone know of a zip/arc/pak/zoo/uu etc.. manager for windows that is
all windows (does not use a dos agent like ZM301 or Click!)

I believe Phil Katz has the copyright on the zip file compression algoithm.
That means he'll have to write the pure windows version or license to code
to have somebody do it. Phil are you listening?!!

	There is a beta version of zip for unix at simtel.  It is
completely in C and requires no special agreements with Phil Katz.
If anyone is interested in playing with the source (which works
fine and dandy, just a bit slow right now), it is in:

wsmr-simtel20.army.mil

PS:[W8SDZ.ZIP]zip05.zip

there is also a release version of unzip for unix, probably called
unzip401.tar.Z or unzip401.arc

(Don't forget to use tenex rather than binary mode when talking to
simtel).
