I'm having trouble with Windows in terms of font selection. I have a LaserJet IIP, and I've created Courier using Bitstream's Fontware. The Bitstream Courier fonts (screen fonts, that is -- these are screen fonts to represent _exactly_ what appears on the page) I've created are in 8.5, 10, 12 sizes (for LinePrinter, 12-pitch, and 10-pitch Courier, the IIP's built-in fonts). Trouble is that Word for Windows won't use these fonts and instead uses the standard Courier screen font (COURB.FON, I believe). I've tried commenting out COURB.FON in WIN.INI, but that doesn't help other programs (some look much better with COURB.FON, e.g. Terminal, QVT, and the like). Any ideas how to get Windows applications to use the right screen fonts? Thanks in advance. T.F.S. Timothy F. Sipples sip1@quads.uchicago.edu
