Greetings all, I have a strange problem with Windows 3.0 and my Seiko CM1440 monitor. Hopefully, someone out there can help me figure out what is going on. I have two super VGA cards; an ATI VGAwonder with 512k of RAM, and a Groundhog Graphics VGA Shadow with 1 Meg of RAM. I have windows 3.0 drivers for both. When I run my system with the ATI card and ATI drivers I get an annoying black line (looks like a shadow) that scrolls vertically up the screen from the bottom to the top. It takes about 5 seconds to traverse the screen. This line is there ONLY when I install the 640x480x256 drivers. It is not present when I use the 800x600 or 1024x768 drivers. It is also not there in any other application that runs in standard VGA mode. Similarly, if I replace the ATI card with the Groundhog Graphics card I get the same problem, but now in both 640x480 AND 800x600 modes. 1024x768 works fine. Once again let me state that other programs work fine. Does anyone know what's causing this scrolling black line, and/or how to fix it? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, Dan Kuster dmk@lcuxlf.ATT.COM
