Hello! I'm not an expert on this one so I hope you can help me. The problem is: SuperVGA 800x600 doesn't work in 386 Enchanced mode. I have no problems with real or standard modes. The computer is a HP Vectra 16S (386sx) and the SVGA-card is original HP, but the main chip seems to be from Paradise. The SVGA-card has (I think) 256 kb. I've tried both Paradise and generic (sv800.drv) drivers, but I always get the same results: beautiful 800x600 screen in lower modes and a garbage screen in 386-mode. I also have tried the suggestion from a Windows readme file: adding a "EMMEXCLUDE=C400-C7FF"-line in [386Enh]-section of SYSTEM.INI. It didn't help. BTW, does it matter which driver to use? I mean Paradise or generic. Are there any known performance differences? Any help appreciated. --- Olli Kihlberg s33997h@saha.hut.fi
