[comp.windows.ms] Problem with TSENG based super VGA card

rays@bat.lle.rochester.edu (Ray Stewart) (01/11/91)

I have a problem with my video card and Windows 3.0 in enhanced mode.
The video card is a PLATINUM VGA SUPERCACHE with 1MEG VRAM.
My Computer is a JAMECO 386 20Mhz

The problem is that when I run Windows 3.0 in enhanced mode at 1024x768
the screen seems as if there is a vertical sync problem.

Everything works ok in standard and real mode.

After many phone call I have learn't that the problem is in the virtual
display driver that came with the card (VDDTLI4.386).

This card uses the ET4000 chip set by TSENG.

Does anyonelse have this problem?
Has anyone solved this problem?
