[comp.windows.ms] More ATM fonts at Cica -- Come & Get It!

dsampson@x102a.harris-atd.com (sampson david 58163) (01/15/91)

As per your requests I have uploaded all the fonts I've found so far
that work with ATM. I just put up the following:

Caligu.zip -- A caligrafy font
Chitown.zip -- A mac Chicago font
Diego1.zip -- From here on I can't remember the specifics so I'll
                just give the file name.
Garmnd1.zip
Gralig.zip
Heidelbe.zip
Iglesia.zip
Midd1.zip

As of right now (1/14/90 at 3:30pm est) the fonts are in the upload
directory. However, they will probably be in the 'pub/pc/win3/fonts'
directory by tomorrow. Remember to use the TEN command when you ftp
and download.

I still haven't gotten these fonts to work with a Postscript (i.e.
Apple Laserwriter II) printer yet. I have followed the directions in
the doc file and modified the "softfont" part of the win.ini file.
However, the windows applications are not downloading them (yes I did
remember to re-select the printer inside the application).

The fontname.pfm files look like postscript definition files that need
to be fed to the printer when the font is going to be used. However,
WFW and the other apps aren't doing that automatically.

Can anybody help?

[Whining about not getting fonts to work deleted]

Well, I un-installed all the fonts, re-installed them, and it all
works now with the little postscript booger. So as Emily Latella used
to say, "Never mind."
