. Has anyone had any experience with a product called Realizer? It purports to be a Windows application-development tool (system? language?) resembling Basic in its general appearance and syntax. There's a book out called something like "Windows Development for BASIC Programmers" that includes a disk with a limited version of the full package, which is supposedly still powerful enough to code up some worthwhile apps. I don't have the book in front of me, so I may not have the exact title. The book with disk sells for about $30, and if you want the full version, it's another $345 or so. I just saw the book and decided to buy it, if only because the claim was too good to pass up. At the very least, it seems to be a good intro to Windows application programming in general (very, very general). Does anyone know whether Realizer is for real? Or is it a toy?
