While running Windows 3.0 on our systems equiped with mice, we have noticed that on occasion, the mouse appears to go nuts - or more properly, windows goes nuts. when you move the mouse, instead of the pointer moving, it causes the applications to open/close their windows, opens task manager window, etc. The only way out of this situation is to use the keyboard shortcuts to exit windows, and then re-enter windows. This has happend on all of our systems - Nec 386sx, IBM PS/2 55sx, NEC PowerMate 286 and 386 machines. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced the problem, and would have an idea as to what may be causing this. The problem is very intermittent, and is hard to force to happen. I, in fact, have not been able to faithfully reproduce the problem. Any help would be appreciated. We are running on Novell 2.15 Arcnet, and the cards are set for IRQ 2/9, mouse cards for irq 5 where appropriate. T Thanks in advance -Tim Noyce
