I have a problem running Win3 in SVGA on my Trident chipset 8800 Aamazing CM-8484E. 1024x768x16 works fine until I shell out or run a pif. The shell/pif runs fine, but when I return to Windows, the screen fritzes out. Everything works fine, but the screen appears to divide into sections. Moving the mouse causes some disturbance, but taking it and all non essenstial things of the system does not help. This is what happens in enhanced 386 mode, in the other modes trying to run windows causes the screen to blank and start beeping. 640x480 and 800x600 have problems of their own that appear differently. To those who want to reply, the system is a 386/25 running AMI BIOS, video BIOS D4-131 version 1.03. Thanks in advance. -steenl
