I have been having this problem for a long time: can't upload a file from my pc to Unix machine using Win3.0 transfer function. I use xmodem and there is no problem with downloading a file. I will appreciate any help/comments/suggestion/solution/hints. I don't want to switch to procomm each time I opload a file. :-) -- Email: frankhua@bart.cs.mcgill.ca | Frank X Huang Tel : Office: (514)398-7086 | School of Computer Science Home : (514)284-5479 | McGill University Fax : (514) 398-3883 | Montreal, Canada H3A 2A7

Try uploading files with Kermit protocol (Terminal has Kermit & xmodem for binary transfer). On the Unix side, issue the command: kermit ri <filename>. -- ___________________________________________________________ Dzung Doan dzung@bgrgh7.bnr.ca Bell-Northern Research Phone (214) 907-5506 Richardson Texas USA Fax (214) 907-5602 ___________________________________________________________
