[comp.windows.ms] Ventura & Micrografx Postscript Driver warning!!

indra@brahms.amd.com (Indra Singhal) (01/25/91)

If you have Micrografx products and have installed their Postscript
printer driver, you will have problems printing from Ventura.

Typical symptom is that the width table will not show all available
fonts.

The fix is to delete the MGX postscript printer and use the standard
driver that comes with Windows 3.0.

I am told Ventura is working with MGX to get resolution.

... thought i'd pass this along...

I had the same problem with WFW. The fonts coming up the fonts menu on
the ribbon was quite different from those installed. It gave me Times
instead of Times-Roman for instance. When switching from standard
postscript to MGX-postscript the formatting also changed.
