I've been running Windows on a 2-meg 386 machine, and I've noticed that when it first boots up, I only have some 800-900k of free memory! Is Windows really that big a program? Is there a way that the environ- ment could shrink itself and then load itself back up from the hard disk in order to give the programs you run from it more memory? - Boris Burtin
