To anyone that works at Video Seven or to the person that uploaded the new V7 drivers to cica: It would appear that this driver has a (or more) bug that is elicited when used on a Fastwrite VGA with 256k. (It could be that the bug shows up on other cards as well). The bug: when a window is opened (as when a group is opened in the file manager), part of the window background is painted white (as it should in my color scheme) but a good part is painted black (or left black). Minimizing and restoring the window in many cases will cause the background to painted correctly. The driver previously at cica for V7 products, did not cause this problem. Also, the bug has been confirmed by others with similar setups. So... Could someone pass on this info to V7 or upload a "debugged" set of drivers. Thanks.. -Darren Merrill (merrill@cs.arizona.edu) /* Protestor Flame On: No matter how you feel about war, protesting it now will only cause pain to those participating in the "Storm"; even the opposition in Congress has chosen to back the troups. The time for protest has passed with the vote taken in Congress. Protestors give torturers another tool to inflict mental pain on poor POWs; I'm sure they don't show POWs tapes of "Suppport the Troops" rallies. I find it disturbing that the people convinced that this action will be another "Vietnam" are the ones that are trying to turn it into one. Flame Off... */
