[comp.windows.ms] Need Paradise Diagnostic SW

reisert@ricks.enet.dec.com (Jim Reisert) (02/03/91)

Can someone please point me at a RAM/ROM diagnostic for Paradise-compatible
video cards? I don't think the 2nd 256K in my father's clone card is working
right (some screens/modes don't come up in PC Labs Bench 5.6, and FRACTINT,
even though 512K is installed).

Thanks - Jim

The Western Digital BBS (714-753-1234) has a program called "vgachall" which
checks register level compatibility of Paradise VGA cards, and tries the
different video modes. It isn't a good diagnostic program, but it might
help in your case.
