In the Windows 3.0, it is really neat how one can use kermit in the background. However, has anyone out there ever figured out how or written a program to run other protocols in the background (or at all, for that matter)? I have tried to run dsz, but failed. Even when run exclusively, it hangs up the line. Anyway, it would be nice to be able to use some of the features of zmodem with the terminal program in Windows 3.0. If anyone knows a way to do it, or knows why it can,t be done, please respond! thanx.... John Galbraith galbrait@tramp.colorado.edu

zmodem is available with WinQVT, which is available for download from many ftp/bbs sites. it will run in the background so you can do other fun stuff instead of watching it...neat huh nitz -- --------skin to skin, lust to lust, ashes to ashes, dust to dust-------- roger c frace frace@iear.arts.rpi.edu don't look at me...i'm clueless! -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
