I've been beating my head against Packard Bell's tech support (sic) trying to get their supplied windows 3 driver running on their "Multi-mode SVGA" card, made by Oak Technologies. This card seems to defy all other standards quite succesfully. The oak driver on cica doesn't do the trick either. Has anyone been else been able to make this work? What about a phone number for Oak Technologies? Any ideas why Windows Setup wants me to install ega.sys after installing the supplied win3_800.drv? (No it doesn't work, not with the default emm.sys switches anyway). I think I've covered the obvious mistakes, having successfully got other clone SVGA cards running on other machines (and on the "Force 386X"), but, as always, suggestions are welcomed. (BTW, got the 'tweak' mod going with the Paradise 800x600 drivers, but the flicker makes it pretty unusable). Cheers, and thanks in advance, michael Michael Mee, _--_|: Postgrad, Space Studies Dept / : "Proudly Australian University of North Dakota :_.--._/ ... stranded in ND" ud180547@vm1.nodak.edu v
