I'm in the market for software to help in automated testing of various MS Windows 3.0 applications, i.e. "keyboard macro" or "demo" tools which record and "playback" mouse and keyboard information. (Though features geared towards automated testing would be *extremely* welcome.) Systems which produce scripts (particularly scripts editable with a text editor) would be particularly helpful. Recommendations and criticisms of the various tools you've had experience with or have seen in action would be greatly appreciated; the Programmer's Workshop catalog lists the LogSHIELD and DemoSHIELD applications from The Stirling Group (I'm particularly interested in LogSHIELD.) However, since the Workshop sent me an old catalog, several other applications may have popped into existance since then. I'll be happy to summarize any replies in comp.windows.ms.programmer; thanks very much for any information you can provide. "Don't you care about this country?" "Damn right I care... about *this* country. That's why I own it." --- Moriarty, aka Jeff Meyer INTERNET: moriarty@tc.fluke.COM Manual UUCP: {uw-beaver, sun, microsoft, hplsla, uiucuxc}!fluke!moriarty CREDO: You gotta be Cruel to be Kind... <*> DISCLAIMER: Do what you want with me, but leave my employers alone! <*>
