Hi windowers! I just got my pare of windows, and obviously have lots of questions. I have an impression, that W3 besides with being just nicelooking girl makes some good things for memory too (correct me if I am wrong). When I go to DOS shell, and check how much memory I have, it says, that all my extended memory is gone, and converted to expanded. Does that mean, that my applications which make use of extended memory will not sense it or W3 somehow will manage to free some ext. memory for them (uff!) ? I downloaded recently APORIA. Seems like a fine program. I am wondering if anybody experienced any problem with it. It looks too complicated and well refined for shareware. Is anybody aware of good shareware programers editor for windows. I mean things like Qedit or similar with macros and shell escapes. Last question. How can I get icons from ICO files to be shown instead the ones wich come with the application or in the ICONLIB.EXE. Other words is there a way to manage ICONLIB.EXE , to add or delete icons from it etc. Thanks a lot.
