Hi!
I'm thinking to buy a PC for CAD application, but I can NOT decide or
know which one of the following system is best suit my application:
1) 386 33 Mhz w/ Math Co-Processor
2) 486 25 Mhz (option? w/ Math Co-Processor)
3) 386 33 Mhz (EISA) w/ Math Co-Processor
4) 486 25 Mhz (EISA) (option? w/ Math Co-Processor)
And I'd like to know:
a) What is the difference between ISA and EISA?
b) Can ISA parts (Hard Disk, Memory Expand, Graphic cards, modem etc.)
be used in a EISA system?
c) Can SOFTWARE (Lotus, Wordprocessor, Compilers, CAD )for ISA be used
in a EISA system?
d) What about MS WIN 3.0? Is there any specify drive for EISA?
e) Which graphic card should be used to for ISA system, for EISA system?
(1024 x 768 x 256 (or greater))
f) Which CAD program is available on the market for WIN 3.0?
g) Is MS WIN 3.0 a very stable GUI to go with?
h) Which brand of the computer is the best buy?
Any reply is greatly appreciated !!!
