[comp.windows.ms] HEGA/P-III video card problem? Help wanted

  Hi,

     My 286 clone uses a HEGA/P-III autoswitch card with printer
  port.  There seems to be some serious compatibility problem
  with Windows 3.  Specifically, Windows can load OK, but as soon
  as I do anything, the screen would suddenly flicker and then
  nothing is intelligible any more.  The computer is not dead,
  since I can vaguely see several mouse pointers moving around when
  I move the mouse.  Has anyone out there heard about this card,
  or experienced the same thing?  Or does anyone have any clue
  to a solution?
