Ok, Another NCSA Telnet problem. I've waited and watched the newsgroup for a while but nothing similar has been reported (that I've noticed). Our accountant has an ATT 386WGS with 4Mb. We have an installed 3C501 card, and are using PCNFS spooling off an old SUN 3, and have NCSA Telnet (latest beta from Illinois) all running under Win3. Now I don't have any problem getting telnet to run in a window, even in background. The problem comes when I close the telnet session down completely and then try to reopen it. (It does not matter whether I spool a print job meanwhile, or just go out and then try to reestablish a new telnet session). Upon launching the second telnet session I consistently get a telnet domain lookup failure message from the telnet software, even though the machine I want to connect to is known by the telnet software (in the config.tel file).
