[comp.windows.ms] ATI VGAWonder+ ??

becap@cs.mcgill.ca (Brian CAPSON) (02/28/91)

Someone poster here a while ago about the new ATI VGA Wonder+ card, and
I'm wondering if I can get some more information on it. Has anyone
actually used it in Windows, and seen the 350% speed gain that ATI says?
I also heard something about an upgrade policy for owners of the VGA
Wonder card. As a happy user of that card, I'd like to know whether I
can get an upgrade, and whether it's worth it. I saw it in a store here
in Montreal for $280, and while that's not a bad price if it does what
it says, it'd be nice to be able to upgrade. I couldn't get any info
from ATI's bulletin board besides their marketing propaganda.
Any info would be welcome.

They're located in Scarborough, Ontario so try calling information for their
number. I remember seeing it in PC Week. I can upgrade my VGAWonder 512K to
the VGAWonder+ 512K for $99.
