hello fellow netters, I was wondering whether anybody out there could compare the different versions of ventura publisher. I have got the version 2.0? prof ext and would like to upgrade to the windows version. Can anybody tell me how vp windows , vp 3.0 (dos) compare with vpprof 2.0?. Is it worth upgrading and how much did you pay for the upgrade ? Thank you for your help, if there is interest i will summarise. tom <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> <<< Thomas Labod >>> <<< labodt@cs.tcd.ie >>> <<< labodt%cs.tcd.ie@cunyvm.cuny.edu >>> <<< Tel +353-1-772941 ext 1797 Fax +353-1-772204 >>> <<< Department of Copmuter Science Trinity College Dublin (Ireland) >>> <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

VPWIN does not show rotated text and the display is totally unusabel in reduced view. I am yet to get ATM fonts to work with Ventura (inspite of my having applied the 12/90 patch which was supposed to fix it... I do need to try playing with it a bit more. And... VPWin is a dog when it comes to speed. Gem version just blazes compared to the Windows version. Anyone on the net pointing to my follies will be appreciated!! -- iNDRA | indra@amd.com or {ames apple uunet}!amd!indra | (Indra Singhal) (408) 749-5445; Advanced Micro Devices | MS 167; Box 3453; 901, Thompson Pl., Sunnyvale, CA 94088
