I have an oil leak in my VW 1980 Rabbit. I have replace the gasket for the valve covers. Next I am going to replace the pan gasket. When I stop it drips oil from the oil pan and leaves a circle about 4 inches in diameter. Any suggestions of where to look would be appreciated. Replace oil pan gasket. Make sure you don't over-tighten pan bolts. You may want to have univ-joint 10mm socket before starting as clearance is tight. Good luck.
