I have a Windows 3.0 problem that I'm having trouble solving: The Panasonic KX-P4450 laser printer I'm using is having problems with Winword. It apparently imperfectly emulates the HP series 2, since using that driver doesn't work very well. Panasonic says they don't write drivers. Has anyone out there found a driver that works reliably for the KX-P4450? Thanks in advance John Eikanger "A former Boeing employee and proud of it."

Actually, the KX-P4450 officially emulates the LaserJet Plus; don't know about the newer KX-P4450i. Thus, try the Windows drivers for the LaserJet Plus, and you may be more successful. Also, I know of at least one feature which was not working in early 4450 ROMS, but I also know of several people who managed to get an upgrade ROM out of Panasonic's US office in NJ to fix this bug (incremental downloads, i.e. downloading chars to the same font ID at different times as they are needed by the text, thus preserving memory). -- W.N.Paul, Int.
