Hi windowers, I need to find a program that will allow a low level clerk to enter data. The data that need to be entered comes from my survey questionnaires. The problem -- very limited research funds to pay the clerk and lots of questionnaire responses to enter. My questionnaire is almost entirely a "fill in the box" or "circle the most appropriate response" type format. There are 175 boxes or circles on each qeustionnaire but many are mutually exclusive. Thus there are only 95 unique boxes or circles that need to be recorded. The program would need to record responses in a separate data file suitable for statistical analysis. I expect to receive at least 750 completed questionnaires, although I may receive substantially more, perhaps up to 2500. My criteria would be ease of use, data entry speed and accuracy. I thought that I could build something using ACTOR but I'm not a programmer. My second thought was to use something like PerFORM (sp?). I'm open to any and all comments. Plesae send e-mail to either kevinc@cs.athabascau.ca or after Sunday March 24, 1991 you can send mail to risk@cs.athabascau.ca. Thanks for listening.
