What is the final word on QEMM 5.1 with 386 Enhanced under 3.0? I am happy with Windows 3.0 except for the small DOS partition. Is QEMM 5.1 compatible completely or what?

I get word 5.5 and ran into a few problems using it with Win 3.0 and Novell. However, QEMM 5.12 seemed to fix this. (I had to ask Qdeck for the new version, though) I think QEMM-386 works great with Win 3.0 and would recommend it to anyone. However, if they use a clone PC they will no doubt have a different set of problems than I do simply because the memory map is different from my PS/2-70. -- ------------------------------------------------------------------ Paul F. I have been using it for a while and it seems to work great, even with the very wierd hardware suite I run. Whenever I've had problems their tech support people have been able to get me running. There is a particularly nice feature that QEMM supplies. Unlike vanilla windows you can run a program that runs in protected mode from within windows if you are using QEMM.

QEMM 5.1 does not happily work with Windows. 5.12 works just fine. -- Marcelo Gallardo ...!princeton!deadzone!marcelo Test and Evaluation Specialist marcelo@sparcwood.princeton.edu Princeton University marcelo@phoenix.princeton.edu Advanced Technologies and Applications (609) 258-5661
