I just read the following in the Windows Powerpoint Forum on CompuServe: ********************************************************************* WINDOWS POWERPOINT (LIBRARY 2) ========================================= [21557,334112] IMAGE.TXT 27-Aug-90 10381 351 Title : Information on slide processing center as altherna Keywords: POWERPOINT IMAGING SLIDE SERVICES OUTPUT For those wanting analternative to Genigraphics service for Powerpoint I have found that the Image Center produces good quatlity results. Either use the Micrographix Windows Driver to create Matrix SCD files ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ or use something like Inset's Hiijak PS to convert Postscript output to a format which the image center will accept. Stephen Nodvin ********************************************************************* Has anybody had any experience with this MICROGRAFX WINDOWS DRIVER? I would like to obtain a copy of this driver to see how it works with our Matrix film recorder at the university. We are currently using DrawPerfect 1.1 to output .SCD files (the slide people like SCODOL files best), but if we could make PowerPoint 2.0 output SCODOL files, that would be great! Is this Micrographx driver free, and if so, can it be downloaded from anywhere (by modem or FTP)? If not, info about pricing, who to contact, phone number, etc. would be great. Thanks! P.S.: I posted a similar note the the SYSOP of Micrografx's Forum on CompuServe, so if there is interest, when they respond, I can post a summary to the net. -- Who: L.
