Has anyone had any problems with the SoundBlaster program PLAYER while in a full screen application, such as, DOS? The music is played VERY slowly. -- +------------------------------------------------------------------------------+ | Santanu Sircar BITNET: ssircar@umaecs.bitnet | | University of Massachusetts/Amherst INTERNET: ssircar@ecs.umass.edu | +------------------------------------------------------------------------------+

I also had the "Talking Parrot" demo speaking so slowly he sounded like he was drunk! Try "upping" the priority of the DOS session or using any of the other tricks that give more of the system's resources to a specific session (application). This has worked well for me when playing games or other cases where maximum speed is essential. Frank Calloway

The music is played VERY slowly. Yes, I have the same problem. It seems that PLAYER can't handle full screen DOS windows. Hopefully this will be fixed in the next release (if there is one). -- --------------------------------------------------------------------- "No clever quote available today." -Mike.
