Is anyone successfully using QRAM with Windows 3.0 on an 80286 machine? If so, may I see your CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT, please? I run Windows 3.0 on an AT&T 6312 (supposedly 100% AT-compatible 12MHz 80286 PC). It has 1MB RAM on the motherboard and 4MB on an Intel Above Board Plus. The Above Board Plus is set for 1MB expanded and 3MB extended. If I put DEVICE=QRAM.SYS in my CONFIG.SYS, Windows complains about the memory manager and will run in real mode but not standard mode. Plain DOS, without Windows, works fine. The Quarterdeck BBS telephone is busy whenever I call. So is Quarterdeck Tech. Support. Does anyone know if they have a fax machine? Otherwise, I'll try communicating with them by US Snail. -- Harvey S.
