I've been using Screenpeace to randomly display .bmp's as wallpaper. The problem is that I have collected too many of these pretty pictures that waste disk space. I was wondering if there is a piece of shareware out there that will randomly extract and display zipped or otherwise compressed bmp's. I have notied that cthey can be compressed quite a bit. I seem to recall seeing this mentioned in this group once before, back before I had discovered the multitude of bmp's on cica. Thanks, Dan dana@ccwf.cc.utexas.edu .

I found a program called zipaper.zip on cica. I beleive it was in /win3/bmp/util/. It randomly extracts a .bmp from a .zip and names it walpaper.bmp. It also keeps track of used .bmps so you don't get repetition. danny

Just a teeny thought here, why not do that in the first place? -- Co-Op Scum "Bo doesn't know software" - George Brett "The galaxial hearth steams the sea as the sky blood red embrasses darkness" -John Constantine (HellBlazer) Glenn Steffler
